Return to Your Natural Rhythm

“This retreat explores the elements — Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space and our daily experience.

In this retreat, you’ll meet the elements through two complementary doorways:

• Yoga Tantra, which allows you to feel the elements directly through the body, breath, and subtle awareness. We will explore how the energies move through consciousness, the nervous system and subtle body. It’s the vertical descent into subtle reality

• Ayurveda, which shows how the same elements shape our energy, digestion, focus, rest, and daily life. We will explore how the energies of the elements move through time, the physiology, habits and daily life. It’s the horizontal translation into daily life. You are not here to follow a perfect routine. You are here to develop a relationship with the elements — to sense when to act, when to soften, when to rest, and when to allow space.

Our intention is that you leave not with more rules, but with more listening, clarity, and trust in your own rhythms.”

TESTIMONIALS

"Costa Rica…a beautiful Blue Zone destination where the land is as restorative, resilient, fresh, and green as only the best microclimate could ever be. I was so fortunate to spend one whole week with one of my oldest and dearest friends and a splendiferous international yoga and meditation friends at AmaTierra Retreat and Wellness Center under the careful and compassionate guidance of the most wonderful Swami Atmarupa Saraswati and Ayurvedic coach extraordinaire Laure Carter. We plunged into ancient meditation and mindfulness practices pursuant to the Satyananda yoga tradition. We learned how Ayurveda and yoga can help us use all of our senses separately and together to connect our mind, body and soul for optimal efficiency. We nurtured our wellbeing with delicious ayurvedically-conscious meals designed by Laure. My favorite takeaways from this magnificent experience: Synchronicity happens when you are open because God will show you who you are and send you kindred seekers to make your life’s journey more Pura Vida!"
